Dual role developing features for the top page of Rakuten Ichiba (React/Redux, TypeScript) & working on a library of agnostic, reusable React widgets. I created new functionality in our repository's BitBucket integration by automating tasks into the PullRequest pipeline (NodeJs). Additionally I was a voluntary contributor to Rakuten Design System; a library of regulated visual components used across many Rakuten sites, design, accessibility, performance and reusability.

Restyling existing UI and adding new UI features, bug fixing, configuring a new data analytics pipeline and providing technical documentation in a small startup (Entertainment SaaS). A large proportion of the work communications were conducted in Japanese. (Vue.js, Ruby on Rails, Heroku)

Developing a cluster of micro services to handle payments and finance in an international insurance broker management system. Developing customer facing products & internal tooling/libraries, writing technical documentation & guides, providing support to internal contacts, collaborating with UX & QA, maintaining extensive db projects with a mixture of ORM and SQL. (React, redux, .NET, SCSS, jQuery, MSSQLServer)

Developing new & legacy systems/tooling for internal/external users, reporting, database management, assisting with UI/UX design, configuring inbound client integrations, deployment to physical/cloud based servers & providing user support in an ISO 27001 compliant company. Updated functionality/styling for an online library of training documents. Refactored the company's smcrchecks.com site (now verogo.co.uk) and it's admin portal.
